Apple is expected to hold its first launch event of the year next month, with sources claiming that the Cupertino-based smartphone maker will also unveil the next-generation entry-level MacBook Pro.
According to a new report from DigiTimes, the Apple MacBook Pro, which will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced M2 processor, will be released next month. The event will most likely take place on March 8th.

The news comes just days after it was claimed that the next iPhone SE with 5G connectivity may be released on March 8th as well. Apple, on the other hand, has yet to confirm the event’s dates.
After the M1 a few years ago, the M2 will be the second-generation Apple Silicon processor. Aside from the MacBook Pro, the M2 chip will power the new MacBook Air as well as a slew of other devices that currently use the M1.

The upcoming MacBook will have the same specifications as the M1-powered MacBook Pro.
Apple is taking this step to assure that there will be no big supply chain concerns with the product. Aside from the iPhone SE 2022 and MacBook Pro, Apple is rumoured to introduce a new iPad, most likely the iPad Air.
The debut of the M2-powered MacBook Pro is still a rumour, and it’s possible that the announcement may be postponed. It’s also possible.
