Gaming-Focused iQOO 9 Flagship Series Gets Leaked Days Ahead of Launch

Key aspects of the new iQOO 9 flagship series have surfaced online days before the official introduction, thanks to a Chinese Tipster, the Panda is Bald.

According to sources, the series will include two variants, the iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro, both powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. The business previously stated that it will be releasing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered flagship phone shortly, and the upcoming iQOO 9 series might be that.

In addition, the iQOO 9 series will include an improved heat dissipation system and a micro-gimbal PTZ. For biometrics, this future smartphone is expected to employ an in-display fingerprint scanner. In addition, the smartphone will support 120W rapid charging.

The iQOO 9 series will have a lovely curved edge display. The display is expected to feature an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The secret this time is in the second-generation independent display chip.

The smartphone will include two pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons for serious gamers.

Other notable characteristics that the device is rumoured to incorporate are dual speakers and dual x-axis linear motors.

Other specifics about the future series are scarce. The iQOO 9 series is set to be released in China in January 2022.
