When the ICC World Cup is approaching, a lot of Pakistani cricket fans look for parallels to the 1992 World Cup, which was the only time the Men in Green were successful in taking home the precious trophy.

One of the Pakistani users of the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, shared an amusing video comparing the Green Shirts’ World Cup 2023

campaigns from 1992 and 2023. The huge event is scheduled to start on October 5.

Some of the commonalities mentioned in the film included India winning the Asia Cup, a Pakistani bowler getting hurt, Pakistan’s ODI rankings, and the team leader not being married.

The daytime games will begin at 10:00 A.M Pakistan Standard Time (PST), while the nighttime games will begin at 1:30 A.M (PST). Pakistan will play in Kolkata if they make it to the semifinals. Unless they are playing Pakistan, in which case they will play in Kolkata, India will play in Mumbai if they advance to the semi-finals.
