Islamabad Police Launches WhatsApp Helpline for Public

The Police Department of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has launched a WhatsApp helpline to enable citizens to easily lodge complaints and acquire vital information with just a few clicks.

The ICT Police Department is the first in the country to adopt a WhatsApp helpline for speedy complaint registration and resolution.

In this regard, Inspector General Police (IGP) ICT Police Muhammad Ahsan Younas said that the public can now contact the ICT Police via a WhatsApp helpline.

They simply need to save the number 03342874287 in their contacts and send it a WhatsApp message. They can use both English and Urdu to converse with the helpline.

The public can contact 18 ICT Police services via a WhatsApp hotline. There are several tools accessible, including the IGP Complaint Cell, Police Facilitation Center Services, Online Crime and Complaints Reporting System, ICT Police Helpline Numbers, Gender Harassment Reporting, Online Appointment for All Services, Police Advisories, and Police Offices.

Social Media, the Islamabad Police Mobile App and Website, the Youth Engagement Program, Zainab Alert, Daily Inquiries and Investigations, Most Wanted Criminals, PMDU Access, and Suggestions and Feedback are also covered.
