Jazz Tops PTA Complaint Charts for March

According to data from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Jazz is the most complained-about telecoms provider, with 7,948 complaints. With 5,096 complaints, Telenor is the second most complained-about telecoms provider.

Zong came in third with 3,553 complaints. There were 1,639 complaints concerning Ufone’s services. PTA received 216 complaints concerning basic telephone service in March 2022, with 205 of them being handled. In addition, 582 complaints were received against ISPs, with 571 of them being resolved.

Mobile phone users account for a sizable share of the entire telecom customer base. As a result, this area receives the most negative feedback. There have been 18,247 complaints made against CMOs by March.

Overall, Jazz is the largest cellular provider in terms of subscriber ratio, and thus the top cellular operator in terms of revenue.

In contrast, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had received 19,067 complaints from telecom customers against various telecom companies, including cellular operators, PTCL, LDIs, WLL operators, and ISPs, as of January 2022.

The PTA claims that it was able to resolve 18,948 problems, or 99 percent of them.
