We expect to see the Nord CE 2 as the next budget OnePlus smartphone in the coming days. While the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has yet to announce the smartphone’s release date, rumours say that it will be unveiled on February 11th.
We have a very solid notion of what to expect from this next device based on recent rumours and leaks. The Nord CE 2 has a TUV Rheinland certification and has appeared on the Geekbench website with the model number IV2201 ahead of its official introduction.

According to the TUV listing, the smartphone will have a 4,500mAh battery with a dual-cell unit of 2200mAh+2250mAh. The device will also allow 65W rapid charging, according to the TUV listing.

The Nord CE 2 is listed on Geekbench as having a Dimensity 900 SoC with 8 GB RAM. The test unit also suggests that the gadget will run on Android 11 and that OxygenOS 12 will most likely be included. In addition, the handset received 704 points in single-core and 2151 points in multi-core tests.
The Nord CE 2 will sport a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, according to earlier leaks and reports. The display will feature a punch-hole cut-out that will house a 16MP selfie camera, as well as a biometric fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. In addition, the gadget may be available with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128 GB/256 GB of storage.

A triple-lens device on the back panel, holding a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens, is likely to be included for photography.
