The Oppo Find X5 series, which includes the basic Find X5 and the higher-end Find X5 Pro, was just released in the worldwide market. Oppo recently produced a Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition, and a Find X5 Pro+ is said to be on the way.
The information comes from a Chinese source who also supplied the Find X5 Pro+’s whole spec sheet.
The Find X5 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and Oppo’s in-house MariSilicon X NPU, according to the source. There will be 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, but no SD card port for expansion.
A 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED screen with curved corners and a punch-hole selfie camera will be used. With a 2K screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, it will use LTPO technology. The 5,000 mAh battery will enable 150W UltraVOOC fast charging, which is the quickest charging technology available on a commercial smartphone at the moment.
A 50MP Sony IMX789 primary lens with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide camera, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope ultra-telephoto camera with 5x zoom and OIS will make up the main camera system. A 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor will be used for the selfie camera.
There’s no indication on when the phone will be released, but the source expects the 12GB/256GB model to cost $1100.
