As part of the K50 series, Redmi will shortly release a gaming phone. The entire world was expecting the standard Redmi K50/K50 Pro models to be released first, however it appears that the Gaming Edition will be released first.

The phone has already been seen from a few perspectives, but now the Chinese business has unveiled renders of the whole design. The camera module hasn’t changed much, however the back panel design has been revised, and a new blue colour option has been added.
Because it’s a gaming phone, mechanical shoulder buttons will be included on the edges, similar to the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. JBL will tweak the stereo speaker setup, and a fingerprint sensor will be installed.
In terms of specifications, there isn’t much official information yet, although the spec sheet has been leaked by multiple popular tipsters. The phone will be released next week, and leaks this close to the debut are usually highly accurate.

A 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait pictures will make up the triple camera arrangement on the rear. The front camera will have a punch-hole design.
