Every each generation of Samsung’s foldable phones, especially the Galaxy Z Flip line, has become more affordable. Thanks to enhanced hardware and a lower price, the clamshell foldable made up more than half of the company’s foldable phone sales.

A recent revelation from Korean media claims that Samsung is preparing to produce even more affordable foldable phones for the general public in the future. The rumour claims that Samsung is developing the Galaxy A Fold and Galaxy A Flip phones, which are anticipated to be considerably less expensive than their Z counterparts.

About 80% of the foldable phone market is presently held by Samsung, but additional competitors are anticipated to enter the battle, making it difficult for the Korean phone manufacturer to maintain its lead.

According to rumours, Apple is developing a foldable smartphone that will allegedly be released in the future years. Samsung should maintain its market dominance as a result of the release of the foldable Galaxy A series.

According to rumours, one of these foldable phones will be the least expensive one yet, coming in at just $767. Even compared to other current flagship smartphones on the market, this is more affordable.

But since it will be a member of the Galaxy A series, Samsung probably won’t use as expensive of hardware to keep the price low. Samsung is expected to introduce these future foldables in 2024, according to reports.
