The Tecno Pop 5 LTE is one of the most recent and reasonably priced smartphones to debut in Pakistan. For Rs 15,000, you get an eye-catching design, a dual-camera setup, and a big 5,000 mAh battery that can last up to three days.
On the outside, the phone looks like any other inexpensive phone, with a waterdrop notch front camera and a thick bottom bezel. On top of that, there’s a 6.52-inch LCD panel with 720p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The back panel is dual-toned and features a huge vertical triple camera, an LED flash, and a fingerprint sensor.
Internals and Storage
Because it is a low-cost phone, it only has a Unisoc SC9863 processor with up to 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. A microSD card can be used to enhance your storage by up to 256GB.
The Unisoc chipset is more than adequate for running the device’s minimal version of Android 10, Android 10 GO Edition.
Cameras
Do not be misled by the third camera lens labelled “AI”; it is merely a marketing gimmick. The device only features a dual-camera configuration with an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth camera. This camera can record 1080p films at 30 frames per second.
Battery and Pricing
The Tecno Pop 5 LTE comes with a big 5,000 mAh battery cell, which is more than enough to power it for three days. Unfortunately, fast charging is not supported.
For the time being, the phone is only available in Pakistan for Rs 15,000 on Daraz.pk, but it should be accessible in local retailers soon.
