Almost everyone is aware that the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the start of each year. All big electrical brands demonstrate their technological worth by displaying all of their startups at this event.

This year’s major technology show features a slew of new devices and concept innovations. However, the event is equally significant in terms of showcasing new laptops, and numerous businesses have already announced their machines for 2022.

1. Dell XPS 13 Plus

It’s the XPS 13 series’ flagship model, with a far superior design than prior models, newer hardware options, and some intriguing improvements to the display and function keys. This laptop lacks a touchpad, which may make it difficult for some users to use.

A new cap active feature, a touch control bar that may be replaced with a media control, and FN keys are all located above the keyboard. The laptop, which boasts a 4K OLED screen and a 28-watt Intel processor, will be available for $ 1,199 in the spring (over PKR 212,000).

2. Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16

At the presentation, Asus presented a new dual-screen laptop with a unique design and high performance. It includes a 16-inch main panel and a 14.1-inch secondary touch screen with 4K resolution, and it’s a bezel-less laptop that gives the impression of one large screen rather than two.

The first will be a Nebula HDRQ HD resolution panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a mini LED backlight, while the second will be a Nebula HDRQ HD resolution panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a mini LED backlight.

The second is a Rogue and BOE dual Spec panel that can be switched between 4K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate or 1080p and 240 Hz refresh rate. The AMD Raisin 96980HX series processor with Nvidia G Force RTX3080T mobile graphics make it ideal for laptop gaming.

The device has up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage; the price has not been revealed, but it is expected to be in the thousands of dollars (more than 530 thousand Pakistani rupees).

3. Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

AMD’s latest technologies are included in Asus’s new laptops, the majority of which are geared at improving battery life and performance.

This new laptop is equipped with AMD’s innovative Raisin 96900 HSCPU, which consumes less power while providing superior performance. To keep the processor cool, Asus used vapour chambers and liquid metal.

The webcam on the display that adjusts from 120 to 144 refresh rate is far superior to the previous model. The pricing has not yet been stated, but it is expected to be available in March 2021.

4. HP Elite Dragon Fly

This is HP’s third-generation hybrid laptop, which was unveiled at CES and is aimed largely at folks who work from home. It has enhanced the capabilities of conferencing and collaboration. The DragonFly, unlike the G1 and G2, is a standard ComShell laptop with a 13.3-inch display rather than the G3-2 in one.

HP has teamed with a device featuring a 5-megapixel webcam auto-frame for video conferencing, which keeps the camera focused on the face even while you’re moving around. Audio functions have been upgraded as well as AI-based noise reduction, and even while speaking while wearing a face mask, one’s voice is clear.

It will be equipped with Intel’s next 12-generation processor, as well as up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. Fast Wi-Fi 6E Wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, and optional 4G LTE and 5G capabilities will also be available. The price has yet to be announced, but it will be available in March.

5. Acer Swift X

This is Acer’s thinnest and lightest laptop ever, with content optimised for everyday use. It has the AMD Raisin 5800U and 4GB Force RTX3050TI and weighs about 1.4kg, making it ideal for editing YouTube videos or photos.

The Acer laptop comes with a 14-inch or 16-inch screen and is powered by a 12-generation Intel Core processor. The laptop will include 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The prices and availability of laptop models have yet to be disclosed by Acer.

6. Alienware X14

Alienware is a Dell subsidiary that manufactures gaming laptops. The larger versions X15R2 and X17R2, which included 12 Generation Intel i9 processors and the latest Nvidia, were also unveiled at the event. TIGPUs are distributed in quantities of 30. There are no specific ports, although it does have a microSD card slot.

The RTX 3060 and Core i7 12900H are combined in the X14, but it also includes Nvidia Advanced Optimus and an FHD 144 Hz display.

The laptop also has dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and Dolby Atmos surround sound capabilities, according to the manufacturer. The laptop will be available in February at a price of $1799 (about 318,000 Pakistani rupees) (over 318,000 Pakistani rupees).

7. Razer blades 14, 15 and 17

The Intel 12-generation processor is used on all three laptops, while AMD Raisin has 6,000 CPUs and Nvidia’s latest RTX GPU. New keyboards with larger keys, laser-cut speakers, and enhanced cooling are included in all three variants. Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1, and a 1080p webcam with IR for face recognition are all included.

The Razer Blade 17 includes a 17.3-inch display with a 360 Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz refresh rate for the QHD resolution. The laptop, which has eight speakers and costs $ 2,700 (approximately PKR 477,000), will be available for pre-order on Razor’s website in January.

The Razer Blade 15 features a 15.6-inch display, 16 to 32 GB of RAM, which can be extended to 64 GB, and 1 TB of storage that can be expanded up to 2 TB.

It will be available for pre-order at the end of January for $ 2,500 (approximately PKR 444,000). The Razer Blade 14 will come with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, as well as two 14-inch display options.

An FHD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate will be one choice, while a QHD display with a 165 Hz refresh rate would be the other. The laptop will also be offered in green order starting in late January.

8. HP Spectre x360

It’s ideal for use in the office or at school. CPU of this laptop is 11th-generation Intel Core i7Graphics and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It has 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and a 17-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS LCD screen. However, this laptop’s storage capacity is limited to 2TB NVMe SSD.

10. Acer Swift 3
