A leakster disclosed on Weibo that the vivo S family is likely to gain some additional members. The vivo S12 and vivo S12 Pro are set to be released soon, and the latter has shown in an official-looking render, along with some specs.
According to the source, the vivo S12 Pro will keep the notched screen, but this time the display will have curved sides, which will be a first for the series. The cameras on the back will perform admirably, and vivo has decided to go with a traditional vertical traffic light alignment rather than experimenting with all sorts of odd triangle-in-square solutions.

The front-facing cameras will contain a 50 MP Samsung JN1 primary sensor and an 8 MP camera for ultra-wide-angle shots. After all, the S unofficially stands for “selfie,” therefore there will be plenty of algorithms to boost the day and night front-facing images.
Fast charging will be faster on the new phone than on the vivo S10 Pro. Given that the predecessor’s 4,050 mAh battery used 44W, we anticipate that the S12 Pro will use the 55W standard. Overall performance will improve as well, thanks to a new chipset, though we’re convinced it won’t be the latest Snapdragon, which is reserved for the top-tier vivo X flagship.
