Xiaomi’s latest fitness band appears to be a considerable upgrade over the Mi Band 6 from last year. Xiaomi’s Mi Bands are one of the most affordable and popular fitness trackers in many parts of the world. The company is working on the Mi Smart band 7, which will have a larger display, built-in GPS, a Smart Alarm feature, and other capabilities, according to sources.

Online leaks about this new next-generation tracker have just surfaced, disclosing some of the device’s main specifications.
Mi Band 7 Specifications (Rumored)
The first few features of Xiaomi’s future Mi Band 7 have been identified via a code contained in Xiaomi’s own apps, according to a recent report by XDA Developers. The codename “L66” and model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1 hint that the future fitness band will have these codes.

It will sport a 192 x 490p resolution display with Always On Display (AOD), watch face compatibility, and a range of workout modes, including Aerobics and Zumba. Built-in GPS, which has already been seen on Redmi and Xiaomi smartwatches, would be included in the Mi Band 7. However, for the time being, the final inclusion of this functionality is unknown.

Aside from that, the Mi Band 7 is expected to include a Smart Alarm feature that would wake you up 30 minutes before your scheduled alarm. To prolong the battery life of the Mi Band 7, the firm is working on integrating a Power-saving Mode.
Xiaomi has yet to announce the official debut of this next-generation Mi Band, though it may arrive alongside the much-anticipated Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Given that the Mi Smart Band 6 was released at the end of March last year, we may learn more in the coming days regarding this next-generation fitness tracker.
