At the India vs. Australia Cricket World Cup game on Sunday, a pitch invader got past strong security and fencing to onto the field and approach players, including superstar Virat Kohli.
Around 30,000 spectators at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium were surprised when British YouTube prankster Daniel Jarvis came wearing a blue India team shirt with the words “Jarvo 69” inscribed on the back.

Earlier than being led away by security, Kohli seemed to be speaking with Jarvis.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), they will evaluate “if additional security measures are required to prevent it from happening again.”
The concerned person has been forbidden from attending any additional games during the event, and the Indian government is handling the situation.
During England’s home Test series against India in 2021, Jarvis, who has developed into a recurring pitch invader, entered the field three times.
After clashing at the Oval with England star Jonny Bairstow, he was charged with aggravated trespass.
“How has Jarvo gotten a visa when not one journalist from Pakistan has one?” on social media on Sunday by Wisden cricket journalist Ben Gardner.
