The significance lies in the improvement over the X65 modem used in the iPhone 14 Pro. The X70 modem in the iPhone 15 offers superior energy efficiency and an enhanced ability to maintain signal connections over longer distances. Contrary to the rumors suggesting that Apple merely recycled the motherboard from the iPhone 14 Pro for the iPhone 15, these insights indicate that Apple has made substantial enhancements.
