Lenovo is preparing to expand its gaming phone lineup with the Legion moniker. There are a number of Lenovo Legion gaming phones on the market currently, but the Chinese tech giant isn’t finished yet.
Thanks to famous source Evan Blass, a new Lenovo gaming phone has just surfaced. Blass has revealed a few renders for the phone, as well as its specifications and the codename “Halo.”
Design
The Legion Halo, as seen in the renders, lacks the over-the-top gaming aesthetics or strange design of the Lenovo Legion Duel or Duel 2. It has a standard smartphone design with a large “Legion” logo on the back.
On the back, there is a triple camera arrangement called “50MP AI triple camera.” On a panel with minimal bezels, the punch-hole selfie camera is located in the top centre. The fingerprint sensor will most likely be located on the side of the device.
Specifications
The screen will be a 6.67-inch P-OLED panel with 1080p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate, according to Blass. A 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor lens will flank the 50MP primary camera on the back. The selfie camera will have a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is expected to power the Legion Halo, along with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. For rapid top-ups, the 5,000 mAh battery will allow 68W wired charging.
The Lenovo Legion Halo is set to debut in Q3 of 2022.
