Xiaomi appears to be planning a 2022 upgrade for its Redmi 10 smartphone, which was released last August. The Redmi 10 2022 (model number 21121119SG) was detected on the IMEI database last week by MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek and was later revealed to have the same camera arrangement as its predecessor, including a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and 2MP macro and depth assists.

The Redmi 10 features a 6.5-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 CPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It has a 6,000 mAh battery and charges at 18W. The Redmi 10 2022 is expected to have a similar spec sheet, while there is still opportunity for some adjustments.
