A mid-range phone will soon join Xiaomi’s high-end 12 series of phones. The Chinese company recently announced the 12S series, but the speculated Xiaomi 12 Lite is about to hit the world market.
The announcement that “Xiaomi 12 Lite is coming” comes from Xiaomi’s official social media account on Twitter.
Xiaomi hasn’t made any official announcements, but there have been a number of leaks in the past that have disclosed the phone’s specs and hands-on photos.
Xiaomi 12 Lite will boast a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution, according to sources. It will support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and pixels with a density of 402 PPI.
The Snapdragon 778G processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will power it.
Along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro camera, the primary camera should have a 108MP sensor with OIS. The 16MP selfie camera will be capable of recording 1080p video.
Although it is still too early to determine if it is genuine, some European merchants have already offered the 8GB/128GB edition for €500. Although there isn’t an official launch date yet, Xiaomi will likely provide us more details shortly because the teaser marketing has already begun.
